Class A circulation pumps

Grundfos ALPHA 2 and ALPHA 2L

Purpose: Circulation pumps of new generation for underfloor heating, radiator heating, single-pipe and two-pipe systems.

Application: Systems with constant or variable flow rates, where it is desirable to optimize the settings of the pump operating point. Systems with variable flow temperature in the pipes.

Design: GRUNDFOS ALPHA2 / 2L combines a rotor motor with permanent magnets and differential pressure control, allowing constant adjustment of pump performance according to the actual needs of the system.

Control panel: GRUNDFOS ALPHA2 / 2L has an easy-to-operate control panel mounted frontally on the pump. The control panel can be rotated in steps of 90 degrees.

Optional equipment: (ALPHA2): Thanks to the AUTOADAPT function (factory setting), the pump can in most cases be started without any settings.

Control panel description: (ALPHA2): Display showing the actual energy consumption of the pump in W. Eight light fields showing the pump settings. Light field showing the status of the "automatic night operation" mode. (ALPHA2L): "POWER ON" indicator light. Seven indicator lights for pump settings. Button for selecting pump settings.

Energy class: Low energy consumption compared to traditional circulating pumps. GRUNDFOS ALPHA2 / 2L is of energy class A.

Night mode: (ALPHA2): If the water temperature drops by more than 10-15 ° C within 2 hours. Switching to "normal operation" mode is performed when a temperature increase of 10 ° C is registered. The pump must be installed on the pipe leaving the boiler.
